Daryl Mosley - My Transistor Radio
Synopsis / Overview
The video concept for Transistor Radio started by first listening to the song and getting a feel for the direction and mood of the music. After listening to the lyrics, I knew I wanted to do a story about a child finding a small radio and being captivated by what he heard. With the concept in place, I still needed a way to link the story to the performance aspect of the video. To do this, I decided to use different Super-8 film techniques like light leaks, artificial film damage, and a different aspect ratio to give the flashbacks the home video feel I was looking for.”nnWebsite: https://www.darylmosley.com nFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/daryl.mosley.739 nInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/daryl_mosley nSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/4lhbxcWd1PoTfAD1wjhKVq?si=KEXkOHiiSw2vIxuj47yyog&dl_branch=1 nLabel: Pinecastle RecordsnnISRC: USWHN2102184 nSong IPI# ASCAP# 912464794nnSongwriters: Daryl Mosley / Rick LangnSongwriters’ IPI#: ASCAP# 126915178 / BMI# 230908194nnPublisher: Songs of Daryl / Haley Ann Music nPublisher IPI#: ASCAP# 646199414 / BMI# 185484142n

The song reached No. 1 on the Bluegrass Unlimited chart in May, marking a major success for Daryl’s solo career. The video is heavily nostalgic, with a Super‑8-like montage that recalls childhood memories of listening to music on old transistor radios. A very effective way of storytelling that combines old and new, @ royaledle
